The most popular attraction in Cozumel Island is conveniently located just a ten-minute taxi ride from cruise ship piers and downtown. Encompassing nearly 450,000 square feet, Chankanaab National Park is located within the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park. Chankanaab, a Mayan word meaning "Little Sea," is home to the world-renowned Chankanaab Lagoon which features the only inland coral reef formation in the world.
Activities and services offered in the park include:
•Swim with Dolphins, Sea Lion Swim and Manatee Encounter: these unforgettable lifetime experiences offered by Dolphin Discovery
•Snuba and Seatrek: Go beyond snorkeling. Snuba and Seatrek offer you the opportunity to explore the underwater scenery of Chankanaab Park, the jewel of the Mexican Caribbean.
•Snorkel and Scuba: Admire one of the most important reefs on the island. Get your underwater camera ready and capture the beauty of the best coastal reef in Cozumel.
